TRIGGER WARNING: I leaned heavily into the Reformed/Encourage trait & mission for this character. My play report deals with themes of religious fanaticism/cult and suicide.

Haiku Journey

Name: Ichiro

Characteristic: Reformed

Mission: Encourage

Body: -1

Mind: 0

Spirit: +1

Travel 1: Spirit, Lonesome, Fatigued

Up and down green hills

Conversing only to the wind

A will and a friend

Waypoint 1: Mist Migration

Spirits flutter from

Caravan to caravan

My destination

Act 1: Teamwork

Gathering a flock

To migrate enlightenment

I’ll direct the way

Reflect 1: Grim Wound

Long drowned days surface

The knot grows tight, I can’t breathe

I wake in the night

Travel 2: Spirit, Difficult, Fatigue

Couple caravans

Lose their way entirely

We push and make haste

Waypoint 2: Life Feud

A village in smoke

Departing souls dissipate

I arrived too late

Reflect 2: Risuke, Reject, Disfigured

He needed guidance

I could not provide, he burned

And did not survive

Travel 3: Mind, Unclear

Endless overcast

Conceal the constellations

I’m blind without them

Waypoint 3: Mountain Smoke

No clouds, only ash

A burning beacon guides us

I take them higher

Act 3: Courage

Baptize in the flames

I watch some leap, and I watch

Non-believers flee

Reflect 3: Heretic

I have been called worse

But soon they’ll see, I’ll make them

Time to start anew
